Annie received her high school education from The Crefeld School in Philadelphia. Santa Fe University of Art and Design was her college of choice located in New Mexico. In the aftermath of the incident, Annie Lederman became familiar with several of her students who were involved in drug-dealing and various other criminal acts. When she graduated from high school at the age of 17 Annie Lederman spent the next time volunteering for work initially teaching dolphins Hawaii before being employed by a non-profit organisation in Central America aiding disadvantaged children.
