Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican American born in El Paso. She comes from a family with entertainment-related genetics. She was just a small child and had a love affair with TV hosts such as Karla Martnez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! In her early years, she grew up with TV personalities like her sister, Karla (Host on Univision's show DespertaAmerica)! Andrew Martinez serves as vice President, Safety, Security and Resiliency at Southern California Edison. SCE is one the nation's biggest electric utility companies. SCE is accountable for the company's activities, programs and policies that focus on employee safety and security. Martinez helps safety leaders achieve their safety goals by providing guidance to them as well as high-quality safety initiatives. Martinez served as director of Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE prior to his current position. Prior to that, he served as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. In the thirty years he spent at SCE, Martinez was in a variety of leadership roles in programs aimed at improving performance and corrections. They included posts at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS where he was responsible for the security of both employees and the public.
