Kat Dennings is a Pennsylvanian born in Bryn Mawr on 13 June 1986. She was named Katherine Victoria Litwack. Ellen Dennings, her mom as well as a speech therapist while Gerald was the father and a college professor. Dennings was raised by a Jewish family as the youngest child. Dennings was homeschooled and only short time in traditional school. Since she started acting early and was a natural homeschooler, it worked well for her. At 14, she finished her high school.
