Keesha Sharp
It is possible to see her as Tyler Perry in the smash hit, Why Did I Get Married. Perry, Janet Jackson and the film indie Frozen Peas are all starring alongside her. Some of her other credits in films are The 636, for which she was awarded best Actress at the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone alongside Janet Jackson and Perry. She also appeared in American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha decided to pursue a career in theater after graduating from Cum-Lude with the Bachelor in Fine Arts. The actress performed on the Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the interactive comedy Eat the Runt. The other theatre productions included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. In addition to her work on the screen and stage, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" and short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is the co-creator behind Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and has several new original projects currently in the work. Keesha is currently working on an album of full length that will showcase her vocals after the success of "Santa Baby".
